Summer at The Caedmon Music School

The Caedmon Music School, a highly regarded music program, is often described as "the best kept secret on the Upper East Side." Our year-round program has something for everyone!

Join Us For Summer Music Lessons for Students Ages 3 and up. 

Our 2023 Summer term will run from Monday, June 19th, through Friday, September 1st.
Lessons are offered both in person or remotely, so your child can still keep up with their musical practice, even if you are out of town for the summer! 

The Caedmon Music School is open to students of all ages and skill levels, including adults. You do not have to be a Caedmon School student to take music lessons at The Caedmon Music School. Our private music lessons are open to all.  

Summer Music School Hours

Monday through Thursday: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Our summer program offers private music lessons for piano, guitar, rock guitar, violin, voice, cello and drums. You may choose a 30-, 45- or 60-minute lesson. A love of music and a desire to learn is all that you need!

***If your child is participating in Caedmon's Discovery Camp, lessons can take place after their 4:00 p.m. dismissal on Monday through Thursday, making a music lesson the perfect complement to a full day of summer fun at Caedmon!

Our summer program is devoted to offering private music lessons and classes taught by some of New York's most talented and sought after music instructors. 

The Caedmon Music School is fortunate to have a faculty of highly qualified teachers with years of experience teaching, as well as performing. 

The faculty and music instructors at The Caedmon Music School are some of the most prestigious teachers & artists in NYC with vast experience here and abroad.

To register for lessons:

• New non-Caedmon families need to sign up for a MyBackpack account with The Caedmon School. Once confirmed with a Caedmon account, new families will be emailed with a login link. 
• Existing Caedmon families should sign into their existing Caedmon Radius account and go to Program Registration.
