Admissions Process

We’re so pleased that you are interested in The Caedmon School for your child. At the heart of our mission is honoring the individual and our admissions process is designed to do just that. We want to get to know your child and you as unique individuals and what is important to your family in a learning environment. See below for details on our admissions processes for our Preschool program and our Kindergarten/Elementary program.

OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Preschool (20 months - 4 years 9 months) - Required steps

• Inquiry (Submit here)
• Early Childhood Group Tour, Presentation, and Panel Discussion (in-person) (Register here)
• Application for Admission (Submit here) Due: Friday, January 10, 2025
• Interviews (once application is received, we'll contact you to schedule)
  • Beginners: Family Interview - Parent(s) and child(ren)
  • Early Program
    • Parent Interview 
    • Small Group Child Interview  
    • Early Program Fours: ISAAGNY form completed by current school
• Email Notification: Thursday, February 27th, 2025, 10:00 a.m.
• Parent Reply Deadline: Thursday, March 6th, 2025, 12:00 noon

Kindergarten and Elementary (4 years 8 months and up) - Required steps

• Inquiry (Submit here)
• 1:1 Parent Interview, Small Group Tour, Presentation, and Q&A Session (once inquiry or application is received, we'll contact you to schedule)
• Application for Admission (Submit here) Due: Monday, December 9, 2024
• Small Group Child Interview (once application is received, we'll contact you to schedule)
• ISAAGNY form, report cards, and transcript completed and forwarded to us by current school by Thursday, January 9th, 2025, 5:00 p.m.
• Kindergarten
  • Notification: Thursday, February 6th, 2025, 10:00 a.m.
  • Parent Reply Deadline: Thursday, February 13th, 2025, 12:00 noon
• Grades 1-5
  • Notification: Thursday, February 13th, 2025, 4:00 p.m.
  • Parent Reply Deadline: Monday, March 3rd, 2025, 12:00 noon

We offer in-person and online opportunities for you to get to know us. Our events allow you to see for yourself the joy in learning our students experience every day. You don't need to apply before visiting.
